    Download/Installation instructions

    1. All files are self-extracting Zip files (.exe). Pre-WindowsME users must have WinZip installed on their computer.
    2. Download the desired desktop theme. In some cases, screensavers must be downloaded separately.
    3. Open the .exe file. A popup window will give you the option to install the theme in its own directory. Users of Windows98/2000/ME with Microsoft Plus! may choose to install the theme in the Plus! theme folder, typically C:\Program Files\Plus!\Themes\. XP users may choose to install it in their default themes directory, C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\.
    4. The theme can be applied to Windows in several different ways. The easiest is to right-click on the .theme file and click "Apply Settings." Microsoft Plus! users can also go to Control Panel > Desktop Themes to open Plus! and choose the file from the drop-down menu or "Other..." to browse for it. XP users can right-click on their desktop and choose the theme from the theme menu or browse for the theme.
    5. If necessary, download the accompanying screensaver and open the .exe file. Install to your computer's screensaver directory (In most cases, this will be C:\Windows\System\) or to the folder you installed the theme.
    6. Better yet, you get customer service on these goodies! Email me at fireinsidetheman@hotmail.com if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions!

*Note: v1.0 desktop themes are fully compatible with WindowsXP, but retain the "Classic Windows Style" (i.e., "squared" instead of "bubbly.") A small price to pay for these cool themes. Hopefully in future versions I will be able to integrate the XP style.

PSST... All files and themes are property of SGLL. Feel free to link to this page, or link to the files and include a small credit/link to me, but do not take them or credit them to yourself! Thanks!
